Senior Product Analyst, Product and Platform Strategy, Product and Platform Management

The Product Strategy Management team within LPL’s Investor & Investment Solutions (IIS) group is responsible for delivering a highly competitive set of investment and technology solutions.  This includes the platform and product offering, pricing, advisor/client access to investment and technology solutions, and promotional activities.  The team’s goal from a technology product management perspective is to provide a highly relevant wealth management technology platform to our advisors and their investors. 

This role will support the Product and Platform Strategy group, specific to LPL’s advisor and investor technology solutions.  The group is a high-impact, high-visibility team that plays a critical role in a number of areas, such as:

  • Providing the strategic roadmap for innovation for both our home grown advisor/investor technology solutions, as well as our integration opportunities within the FinTech space
  • Cultivation of advisor-facing technology relationships
  • Offering of guidance to advisors regarding their personalized technology solutions
  • Study of the advisor technology landscape to determine strategy and future partnership opportunities

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume the lead in directing team efforts towards studying the advisor-tech landscape
  • Interact extensively with external technology firms to choose partners that offer the most relevant technology offerings to our advisors
  • Play a key role in explaining both our home grown technology options to advisors, as well as external technology options, in order to provide guidance
  • Participate in advisor home office visits to explain our technology roadmap and offering
  • Contribute significantly to our strategic advisor and investor technology direction
  • Cultivation of advisor-facing technology relationships


  • A willingness to exhibit curiosity, collaboration and unwavering reliability
  • 5+ years of experience within the financial sector, preferably with experience working with financial advisor technology in some capacity; prior work at FinTech firms/Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) technology a plus
  • Experience working alongside advisors preferred
  • Adept at conducting research and analyzing trends to propose strategic thoughts
  • Able to handle and lead complex conversations
  • Able to present to audiences
  • Adept at organization and communicating status to senior leadership
  • Adept at coordinating internal efforts and being communicative with potential partners
  • Able to exhibit patience in navigating through a large pipeline of activity
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Technology preferred
  • Understanding of Agile product development and product management a plus
  • Adept with Microsoft Office product, especially PowerPoint
