The Senior Recruiting Consultant on the Enterprise Advisor Recruiting team within LPL's Business Development group will work with the department’s Assistant Vice President and Vice President to drive new advisor joins to LPL’s institution partners in an assigned territory by coordinating recruiting resources, sourcing and qualifying prospects, and influencing hiring manager behavior.
The Senior Recruiting Consultant will work directly with the Enterprise Advisor Recruiting Team to help source, screen, research information, manage the pipeline, and connect with prospective advisors considering a bank or credit union advisor position with LPL.

The Senior Recruiting Consultant role will make you an expert in LPL’s Enterprise Affliiation model, quickly making you a competitive candidate for other internal opportunities. Identify new prospective advisors by coordinating recruiting resources, such as Business Development Associates, as well as responding to internal calls or inquiries that are made to LPL.
Manage/lead outbound call campaigns that tie into LPL or industry trends creating opportunities.
Set appointments for Institution Hiring Managers to meet with advisors in-field.
Utilize discretion and independent judgment in evaluating potential advisors to determine whether the advisor is an appropriate candidate for LPL prior to introducing to the hiring institution.
Understand and articulate LPL’s business model, LPL’s policies, the financial services industry, and the benefits of joining one of LPL’s affiliation options.
Coordinate subject matters experts as prospects conduct due-diligence on LPL.
Meet with advisors during home office visit in order to address advisor’s questions and concerns including, but not limited to, addressing advisor’s questions regarding LPL’s platform and policies.
Through phone-based meetings with the advisor, engage in discovering and gathering information regarding the advisor’s business and potential fit with LPL’s partner institution.
Exercise discretion and independent judgment in evaluating the advisor as well as the advisor’s book of business.
Drive an action based recruiting process influencing behavior at the institution.
Train and educate internal staff on the nuances of recruiting for institutional partners; this includes coaching Business Development Associates on the unique value proposition of our partner institutions, who our competitors are, and what hurdles we need to overcome in order to win the business.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or related field of study
Must have prior sales experience with a track record of success. Either 2-4 years of Financial Services experience in a sales related role, or 4+ years in sales with a genuine, articulable interest in the Financial Services industry
Experience in recruiting on LinkedIn
Strong familiarity with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Salesforce, and MS Outlook
Superior verbal and written communication skills are required
Consultative skills are a must
Commitment to follow-up and follow-through
Well-organized, strong time management skills
Series 7 and 66 preferred
Local to the San Diego or Fort Mill location
