Service Resolution Professional

The Retirement Services Specialized Service Resolution Professional will provide outstanding service while acting as a resource, leader, and mentor to front-line Service Center Service Professionals by assisting with questions, handling escalated items, and facilitating information distribution.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise covering LPL policies/procedures as well as IRS rules/regulations

  • Assist in the resolution of escalated issues, taking ownership, and ensuring the situation is completely resolved

  • Facilitate distribution of operational policy updates, system outages, and other pressing information to frontline associates

  • Facilitate team huddles/meetings and training presentations

  • Partner with Operational contacts to resolve difficult and/or out of SLA issues

  • Consult with frontline associates on how to effectively respond to customer issues

  • Monitor phone queues/emails/chats and provide assistance as needed

  • Regularly exercise discretion and business judgment; research and resolve advisor issues

  • Gather statistics, populate coaching sheets, and prepare calls to be evaluated for monthly coaching sessions

  • Assist RS leadership with projects as needed


  • At least 1 year of experience working at LPL in the Service Center or a similar role

  • Prior supervisory or people management experience

  • Ability to learn complex financial information & terminology at a fast pace

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving ability

  • Positive, customer-focused attitude and demeanor with a desire to provide outstanding service

  • Desire to lead and develop others while working to  effectively foster a team environment

  • Prior experience and proficiency using MS Office and various other web-based applications

Additional Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years brokerage/financial services industry knowledge

  • At least 1-2 years of experience working with retirement accounts at another financial institution


  • FINRA Series 99 or 7

  • Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Business, Accounting, or Finance
