Job Overview:
LPL Financial is currently seeking an experienced Sr Analyst of Reporting & Analytics with exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills. The candidate must have experience with mining Big Data, finding patterns, insights, anomalies, and communicating those findings in concise, clear, and easy-to-understand formats that the leadership team can use to formulate action plans. You will assist in the development of recommendations by synthesizing data from multiple sources and developing reports where needed to drive strategic and business insights. In this position, you will strategize with the team to identify solutions with a focus on product improvement, operational automation, and the improvement of advisor experience via action-oriented intelligence.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business owners to meet analytic needs including, but not limited to:
- Analyze calls to identify business or operational patterns that need to be addressed
- Determine what call drivers causing advisor dissatisfaction and repeat calls
- Communicate results to onshore team members
- Ensure that quality and efficiency standards are maintained
- Create and manage reports & dashboards in reporting systems (Tableau and Speech Analytics platform)
- Partner with internal customers to accurately assess requirements of data requests to ensure analytic approach meets requirements needed.
- Create new and improve existing analytic approaches to solve business questions in a creative way
- Develop reporting, verbal and written communications summarizing key findings; Interpret data, summarize information and present findings.
- Point out patterns, divergence from patterns; identify opportunity and risk based on data sets
- Work with all levels on management with the appropriate level of detail to solve problems
- Leverage data visualization to assist in telling the story for various areas of the business; mine and analyze data sets to help stakeholders develop action plans and / or draw conclusions.
- Support peers and stakeholders as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) through analysis of results.
- Improve current processes or find efficiencies by applying industry best practices as an experienced Business Analyst.
- Mentor junior analysts/offshore team to build overall capabilities of team
- Partner with business stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of all metrics published in dashboards and reports.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure that all the metrics show the same results across reports.

Requirements:
- Data & Business Analytics: 7-10 years
- Tableau: 3 -5 years
- LSS Green Belt or LSS Black Belt
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics or related STEM field required
Core Competencies:
- Comfortable with using SQL, Tableau, Python, and R
- Proficient with database concepts and able to write queries from scratch
- Experience with Nexidia, Verint Speech Analytics, or similar speech software
- Excellent data-gathering, analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferences:
- Preferred major in Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, MIS
Pay Range:
$91,000-$136,500/year
The salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant’s skill, experience, and work location.
