Job overview:
This position is currently a full time remote role due to Covid and we expect to transition back into our Fort Mill, SC and San Diego offices later this year.
This is a business partner role within our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team that leads analyses and forecasts that help our management team make informed decisions. By working with colleagues in finance and in the business units, you will develop timely, accurate, and insightful commentary and recommendations. This team has the unique opportunity to be finance experts, to understand how business unit performance fits within LPL and vice versa, and to communicate with business partners at all levels of management on a daily basis.
What will you do?
Work closely with cross-functional business partners to understand and provide insights into financial performance, resource planning, and expense forecasts
Prepare and deliver compelling, accurate, and visually effective financial presentations
Lead the preparation of detailed budgets and forecasts
Identify areas of improvement and implement effective solutions
Ad hoc analysis and additional responsibilities as required

What skills, experiences, and education are required?
3-5+ years of finance experience
BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics (or a related discipline)
Strong communication & presentation skills
Strong Relationship building skills through providing consistent & transparent customer service to the Business Units we support
Financial Modeling and MS Excel skills
