The Finance, Operations, and Risk organization at LPL is seeking a SVP, Finance, Operations & Risk Strategic Support to lead the primary strategic support function for LPL’s Chief Financial Officer and Head of Business Operations (CFO). In this role, the SVP will collaborate with the CFO and executive team members to drive strategic planning and cross-functional change efforts, lead employee engagement and talent management efforts, drive internal communications and support key executive reporting.
The ideal candidate will bring a demonstrated track record of influencing senior leadership, collaborating across stakeholder groups and leading key change efforts as well as critical skills in developing and leading high performing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the CFO Strategic Support team as a key leverage point for the CFO and the executive team within Finance, Business Operations and Risk
- Serve as connection point across CFO’s leadership team and key external partnerships
- Coordinate and drive execution of cross-functional strategic initiatives
- Manage and produce Finance-wide and Board reporting
- Partner with leadership to deliver, monitor and communicate progress against goals
- Drive employee interaction and engagement efforts, including employee communications and finance-wide talent management actions
- Manage Board of Directors reporting process and timeline management
- Drive alignment by managing employee town halls and leadership meetings
- Hire, train and lead a high-performing team in a dynamic environment
- Serve as a strategic partner to drive key change efforts
Qualifications:
- This candidate should be a strategic thinker, communicates effectively, drives change, is highly motivated and thrives in a changing environment
- A proven history of building and maintaining excellent relationships and partnering with executives at all levels to help drive change
- Familiarity with current best practices and trends to enhance the effectiveness of Finance, Operations and Risk
- Ability to develop and manage a high-performing team
- 10+ years relevant experience in financial services
- Program and project management acumen and experience driving far-reaching strategic initiatives
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Business Management, Information Systems or related field is required (CPA, PMP or other professional project management certification or Six Sigma certification are pluses)
Pay Range:
$161,480-$242,220/year
The salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant’s skill, experience, and work location.
