The SVP of Equity & Option Trading is responsible for leading all aspects of equity and option trading in support of over 20,000 advisors and institutions. As a member of the Trading Executive team, the SVP will provide strategic direction to deliver a leading advisor and client experience, through oversight of staff responsible for service delivery, trading operations, order routing, best execution and market center relationships.
Responsibilities:
Equity and Option Trading Operations. Leadership of the firm’s equity and options trading organization which handles incoming electronic and phoned in trades on behalf of registered investment advisors, financial institutions, money managers, internal portfolio managers and retail clients.
Service Delivery – Ensure that regional and remote trading staff meet service level standards in a high volume, high risk, fast paced environment.
Advisor & Client Experience – Capture voice of customer and partner cross functionally to deliver and drive adoption of digital tools, product capabilities and services to create a leading overall platform experience
Risk Management – Identify, establish and apply financial and regulatory risk related controls.
Best Execution – Lead the firm’s equity and option order routing practices and best execution obligations.
Employee Experience – Create an enriching employee experience that attracts and retains top talent, develops strong leaders and creates cultural connection for both office-based and remote workers.
Vendor Management - Develop and maintain market center and industry relationships to drive positive outcomes for customers and the firm.
Collaboration – Work with a diverse group of cross-functional teams to drive creative and continuous improvements

Requirements:
10+ years of experience building and leading trading teams, preferably with a self- clearing broker dealer
Experience in advisor/client-facing roles in the financial services industry
Familiarity with trading technologies, order management systems and rebalancing platforms
Deep knowledge of equity and option market structure, order routing practices and best execution guidelines
FINRA licenses 4,7,24,57 and 63 or equivalent
Core Competencies:
An ability to effectively engage, influence, develop and motivate teams in a hybrid (office and remote) environment
Superior communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
An ability to anticipate and plan for changes in the business model, growth and corresponding volumes

Pay Range:
$179,560-$269,340/year
The salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant’s skill, experience, and work location.
