Job Overview:

The primary purpose of the Technology Adoption Consultant (TAC) role is to drive Advisor growth and profitability as well as gaining a competitive advantage through the Adoption of Technology and Resources available to them. This is achieved by providing accurate details regarding various technologies and taking part in consultative conversations about its features and benefits.

The TAC is viewed as a subject matter expert by LPL and our advisors for the technology available within Wealth Management and beyond. The successful TAC must also demonstrate a high level of professionalism and knowledge to be a trusted consultant for financial advisors. The split between Proactive and Reactive is estimated at 80/20.

What Will You Do?

  • Proactively engage with Advisors to drive adoption of technology.
  • Receive referrals across the Wealth Management Organization and beyond as a Subject Matter expert for a menu of Technology options available.
  • Be at the forefront as new technology becomes available to drive awareness and adoption.
  • Build strong relationships with Advisors and help them along in their paths towards growing, protecting, and building their business.

What Does Success Look Like After 90 Days?

You will have an understanding of LPL’s Technology offerings and how adoption leads to growth and efficiencies in an Advisor’s Practice. You will also have the knowledge to be able to articulate the features and benefits of this technology.

What Skills, Experiences, and education are required?

  • Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree or HS Diploma/GED with additional equivalent experience
  • Experience in the Financial Services Industry Preferred
  • A Drive for Professional Growth and Development
  • Demonstrated ability to use independent judgment to make decisions and solve problems
  • FINRA Series 7 and 65/66 Preferred but not required
