Wealth Consultant, HNW Solutions

The High Net Worth Solutions Team at LPL focuses on working with Advisors that serve High-Net-Worth (HNW) individuals, families and institutions.  The focus of this position is around the product/technology that supports Advisors in this space (Fortigent) in the realm of aggregated performance reporting, trading, research and practice management.

The Wealth Consultant’s primary role is to provide own, manage and support a subset of our business-to-business relationships that consume the tools that support the HNW channel.  Being an effective communicator, as well as possessing a client-centric mindset at all times, is a must have.       

Essential Functions:

First level contact and support for assigned relationships; Fielding of ad hoc Advisor driven requests regarding the product and be able to facilitate with internal constituents (55%)

Execution of regular calls and touchpoints with clientele (20%)

Proactively identifying ways to enhance revenue, increase efficiency and improve the product offering (15%)

Interfacing with team leaders to address specific needs of Advisors (5%)

Setting direction of Associate level team tasks and monitoring deliverables (5%)

Job Requirements:

Minimum Education Required:  Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum Experience Required:  3+ years industry experience

Software/Systems Skills Required/Preferred: High level of proficiency of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to learn proprietary software systems.

List any Physical Requirements for the position:  Candidate must have a strong understanding of financial investment vehicles and current market climate; must be self-motivated with close attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong written and oral communication skills; must be strong in phone conversations, ability to work in a fast pace environment, ability to handle multiple projects, software and tasks at any given time in order to meet strict deadlines, ability to work with minimal supervision and to show initiative to take on new things without being prompted; experience in a business-to-business service environment is a plus.
