Job Overview:
Cloud/DevOps Engineer supports ongoing development of cloud and infrastructure as code platform solutions needed to host business-critical applications that differentiate LPL in the market
Responsibilities:
Builds IaC solutions adhering to DevOps principles using tools like Gitlab, Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins
Accountable for site reliability engineering (SRE) activities to build highly available and scalable solutions and ensure problem observability of platforms / services
Develops enterprise services on AWS utilizing IaaS/ PaaS solutions including EC2, ECS, EKS, ELB, RDS, R53, S3, Lambda, API Gateway
Leads initiatives and partners with development, architecture and security teams to build pipelines that enable application/service onboarding in cloud adjacent DCs and AWS
Builds/implements platforms guardrails to enable self-service allowing product owner to build and own services
Participates in Kanban delivery model to deliver sprint releases through stories/epics utilizing Jira to track all development work
Serves as a subject matter expert to design, administer and support security of infrastructure and enterprise hosting platforms
Delivers on complex infrastructure initiatives
Builds / Maintains strong partnerships with IT stakeholders including Delivery Engineering, Application Development, Architecture and Security

Requirements:
1-3 years of experience and comfort working in an agile environment ( Scrum and Kanban )
1-3 years of experience developing maintainable/ scalable platforms
Core Competencies:
Possess a thorough understanding of modern work practices such as DevOps, Continuous Delivery, Agile project Delivery
Extensive experience using system management configuration tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, CF/YAML/JSON) to manage compute infrastructure at scale
Highly collaborative with experience in a hands-on technical role
Preferences:
AWS Solutions Architect
AWS DevOps Engineer
Proven experience building/communicating/executing automation frameworks to reduce waste and improving efficiencies
Experience designing / deploying infrastructure utilizing common AWS services (ECS, EKS, ELB, RDS, EFS, EBS, Route53, API Gateway)
Experience with AWS Landing Zone / Control Tower
Extensive experience building end-to-end automation for core infrastructure services
Extensive experience accelerating migration of infrastructure and platforms to AWS
Ability to lead large enterprise infrastructure projects
ALZ, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, ELB, RDS, CloudWatch, Storage Gateway, Glacier, EBS, EFS, S3, Lamdba, CodePipeline, Python, YAML, JSON, Gitlab, Jira, Terraform, CouldFront

Pay Range:
