Information Security is essential to what we do at LPL, protecting our employees, our advisors, and their clients. As a part of the Advisor Security team, the Advisor Security Risk Sr. Analyst will play an integral role in identifying, evaluating, and reporting on information security risks specific to LPL advisor offices. This individual will be responsible for supporting the creation, execution and improvement of processes and procedures for advisor security risk management activities, providing essential information to leaders to facilitate decisions regarding information security and technology risk.
Support the design and implementation of Advisor Security Risk Management program enhancements to proactively manage risk amongst the advisor population.
Identify opportunities to improve risk posture, proposing solutions for remediating or mitigating risks, and assessing residual risk of advisor offices.
Deliver analysis, reporting, and continual enhancement of key risk indicators to measure and provide visibility to the security posture of advisor offices.
Support in maturing, conducting and reporting on information security advisor risk assessments driving leadership action, escalation, and risk acceptance processes as a result.
Manage relationships with security, technology, and business stakeholders to identify and communicate security risks and remediation approaches.
Drive cross-team Risk Management processes to support overall Advisor Security objectives.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Cybersecurity, Technology, Information Systems, Business, or related discipline.
4-6 years of experience in technology risk, information security, or related field.
Experience in identifying information security risks, corresponding control gaps, and applicable remediation strategies.
Experience in information security with a technical understanding of key security concepts such as, logging and monitoring, networking, application security, cloud security.
3+ years of relevant experience in Banking or Financial Services
Relevant information security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, OSCP)
Knowledge of IT control frameworks, such as NIST, COBIT, SOX
Familiarity with national and state laws and regulations as they relate to cybersecurity, such as NYDFS.
