Job Description

The Finance Systems Analyst, reports to the VP of Finance Systems, and is responsible for system administration tasks, supporting end users, and assisting with various enhancement initiatives in close partnership with team members and business stakeholders.

The ideal individual is someone who wants to develop within a Finance Systems role, strive to become a subject matter expert, and someone who will be heavily focused on the meeting the needs of our stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform recurring and Ad-Hoc system administration tasks to support business operations

  • Provide a customer centric experience for business partners, providing first level support

  • Build and maintain relationships within Finance, Technology, other business organizations, and with third party vendors

  • Create and maintain documentation including system runbooks, process narratives, process flows, and policies and procedures

  • Train and support end users on system functionality and processes

  • Promote a culture of continues improvement within a volatile environment

  • Manage and execute UAT for implementations with varying ranges of complexity

  • Partner closely with our Produce Management team in support of various initiatives

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is required

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience is required

Core Compentencies:

  • Microsoft Access, VBA, and SQL knowledge

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

  • Experience supporting various financial systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and activities

  • Understanding of SOX controls and ensuring compliance over financial reporting

  • Strong leadership and management skills, particularly in managing organizational change and process improvement

  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff

Preferences

  • CPA, CFA, MBA are pluses

  • Preferred experience includes Trintech Cadency, Oracle R12, Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS), Ariba, and Concur
