Job Overview:
The Advisor & Institution Technology Consulting team is focused on providing guidance, support and solutions for technology tools that are leveraged by advisors, program managers, members, their staff and their investors.

This position will focus primarily on supporting Independent Advisor practices. To date, our team has focused its efforts on subsets of LPL's advisors. This important hire will be the first to help us enter wider Advisor markets in order to consult and explore tech stack guidance, at scale.
Candidates for this role must have a passion for, and interest in, the technology used by firms to support their practices (i.e. CRM, Financial Planning, Performance Reporting, Analytics, etc.). The role will work with many stakeholders, and requires a candidate to be able to think strategically and tactically to anticipate the tech needs of clients. Collaboration with external partners, as well as internal business, operations and technology groups, will be critical to ensure the needs of our advisors are met.
Responsibilities:
Consult on the following aspects of Advisor-facing technology:
Technology options and help to guide the tech stack selection, assessment and construction process
Best Practices with Implementation and Optimization of software
Offer situational guidance on how to maximize integration, adoption and optimization of their tech stack investment – both with LPL technology and 3rd parties
Tool specific consulting (LPL Solutions, CRM, Financial Planning, Performance Reporting, Analytics/Proposals)
Investor Experience consulting
Identification of Efficiencies – Leverage knowledge to advise on workflows, cater guidance to specific personas and foster education regarding available capabilities at LPL and 3rd parties
Key leader in activities that focus on building efficiencies in decision-making, centralizing technology thought leadership and one-to-many consulting opportunities.
Additive in demonstrating the value of technology to firms via targeted marketing campaigns, webinars, etc.
Evolve the offering - You are expected to be a thought leader in how we refine our consulting and grow to service a larger audience.

Requirements:
5+ years client facing experience, with Consulting or Product experience
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, including public speaking, leading in a board room setting, etc.
Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to evaluate issues, and provide solutions, or in many cases, responses without defined solutions
Project management / multi-tasking skills across different projects
Understanding of API/Data Sharing between firms, at an intermediate level
Interest and alignment to our team values of Curiosity, Service-Mindset and Entrepreneurial Spirit
Preferences:
Financial services, Advisor Practice and/or FinTech/SaaS Technologies experience a plus
Experience with Salesforce, Redtail, Wealthbox, MoneyGuide, Morningstar, eMoney, RightCapital, Riskalyze, Albridge, Black Diamond and/or Orion preferred
Pay Range:
$105,120-$157,680/year
The salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant’s skill, experience, and work location.
