Role Overview:
The Assistant Vice President, Bank & Trust Project Management will be part of our innovative, entrepreneurial, high-performing Advisor Solutions team. This team member will be a part of a new Bank & Trust team and will be responsible for leading, managing, and refining the process for medium and large trust system conversions for bank institutions onto a LPL proprietary platform.
Effective and seamless onboarding starts a new client relationship off on the right path for success. The job requires regular interaction with inter/cross-departmental leadership, as well as executive and c-level firm leadership. Having the experience, presence and poise to command the respect and trust of senior management as well as other highly driven and independent professionals is necessary.
This position requires advanced organizational and communication skills, the ability to operate in a highly dynamic multi-tasking environment, and demonstrated ability to creatively define, develop, and execute plans to solve highly complex matters. Having a strong work ethic, being an effective communicator, and a sense of diplomacy will be imperative to the success of any individual in this role.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the management of onboarding new trust institutions through the establishment and ongoing leadership of a program governance structure that ensures stakeholder engagement and efficient program and product execution
Collaborate across the firm, external partners and clients to maintain alignment on goals and execution plans
Ensure the conversion or project goals/milestones are met and budgets are in accordance with financial goals
Ability to solicit and translate client and user requirements to technical specifications and explain these concepts to product and technical owners
Proactive in risk, issue and decision management as well as a persistence in escalating issues to the proper levels for attention and driving transparency at all levels surrounding program execution
Develop project plans and metrics that communicate progress, risks, issues and approach to execution that support continuous learning and improve outcomes
Assist in data mapping and system connection activities and third party interfaces during set up and conversion
Design and implement training and service support of both trust accounting system and features of the user interface and workflow systems
Participate in and perform tasks associated with software release and roll-out activities as required, including testing and support
Conduct data analysis, product mapping and client interviews to assess data requirements for trust data ingestion and utilization
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of firm wide best practices, execution protocols, and checklists for trust conversions
Create reporting and presentations that are SVP+, C-Suite, and Board ready
Provide coaching and mentoring to junior team members
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in management consulting, program & project management preferably within a bank and trust industry or related FinTech firm
Broad range of agile, SAFe 5.0, change management, program management, business, and leadership skills
Bachelor’s degree
Excellent communication, presentation, written, and interpersonal skills needed to influence customers, (internal and external) and other managers
Ability to effectively manage communications during complex program environment through communication planning, information distribution and performance reporting using formal program management practices
Ability to analyze processing needs, user requirements, procedures to automate or improve existing processes and user experiences
Ability to deploy change management approaches, best practices and tools that will support the transformation introduced with complex programs
Flexibility and organizational change management experience
The ability to work in a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural teams and drive outcomes without having direct authority
Preferences:
PMP, Certified Scrum Master, Lean Six Sigma, Leading SAFe 5.0, SAFe Practice Consultant designations preferred

Pay Range:
$109,000-$163,500/year
The salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant’s skill, experience, and work location.
