Job Overview:
LPL’s Enterprise Data Reporting team is working to build improved data visualization and insights capabilities to help drive business insights. We are looking for a technical leader to drive the implementation and adoption of visual reporting into a large user base. Note that this is a very hands-on role, with heavy work in Full Stack and Angular.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, tune and implement n-tiered, web-based Dot Net applications while collaborating with Enterprise Architecture, Development, QA and Product teams
Assess opportunities for application and process improvements and prepare SDLC documentation
Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and enhance existing systems
Work collaboratively with QA, and DevOps teams to adopt CI/CD toolchain and develop automation
Communicate with technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis as part of product/project support
Design and develop core services and components with expertise in service-oriented architecture
Design patterns and coding best practices
Communicate with cross-functional teams to bridge the gap
What are we looking for?

Requirements:
7+ years of experience in designing and implementing complex systems, including developing solutions from scratch in Dot Net technologies and SQL server
5+ years of experience designing applications, developing web services (REST/SOAP), and integrating with vendor APIs
5+ years of experience web/service development experience with the following technologies:
.NET, C#, SQL server, MS SQL, Node, MVC, NuGet, JavaScript/JQuery, HMTL, JSON, CSS, TFS, GIT, pub/sub messaging technologies and pattern
5+ years of significant experience with data modeling skills (conceptual, logical and physical model design, Operational Data Stores, Enterprise Data Warehouses and Data Marts).
Core Competencies:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts into comprehensible business terminology.
Strong organizational and planning skills and process orientation.
Commitment to excellence in service, performance, and execution.
Ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment while effectively managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously as well as produce high-quality end to end solutions for complex data problems.
Capable of effectively planning, prioritizing and executing tasks utilizing resources and tools
Preferences:
Experience with Agile, using JIRA
2 years of experience in Message queue implementations (Kafka)
Excellent understanding of SOA principles and design patterns
Excellent understanding of Master Data Management (MDM)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and non-technical
Excellent leadership skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Motivated and driven by achieving long-term business outcomes
2 years of solid development in big data stack and programming experience in Python and Scala
Excellent understanding and writing of SQL server procedures, Views, functions and designing skills
Excellent knowledge in caching and exception handling
Knowledge of event-driven architecture preferred using varied messaging systems (Kafka)
Experience with Oracle, MS Access Batch Processing, or Informatica is desired

Pay Range:
