Job Overview:

Our team at LPL is seeking a skilled Senior ETL Developer to design and implement ETL processes for Cloud. You will build ETL pipelines to ingest the data from heterogeneous sources into our system you should have excellent business and communication skills, and be able to work with business owners to understand their data requirements and make data-related decisions using your ETL knowledge and experience. You will be working with a motivated team in a fast paced environment.


  • Design, develop, and implement scalable enterprise data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter 10.X, Data Quality, Managed File Transfer (MFT), SSIS, and other integration tools.

  • Design & promote the reuse of common ETL components to leverage existing data assets and ensure data consistency.

  • Design, build and maintain Extract Transform & Load (ETL) processes and design data models.

  • Create unit test plans and support ETL code deployment through system integration and user acceptance testing.

  • Make recommendations, based on data profiling and data analysis, for changes to existing/legacy systems.

  • Perform source data analysis to proactively find and expose data quality problems and prepare for data volume and concurrent usage growth.

  • 8+ years of Database Technology experience in one of more platforms (MSSQL, MySQL)

  • 5+ years Data Warehouse experience (Dimensional Data Model)

  • 5+ years of ETL experience with Informatica

  • 3+ years of experience on  SQL working with large data sets

  • 3 + years of experience with Source Control such as GIT or TFS. CI/CD experience with TeamCity/Octopus.

Core Competencies: (If needed)

  • Knowledge and understanding of relational databases (MSSQL), dimensional data model.

  • Hands on experience in SQL server procedures, views, indexes and performance tuning.

  • Solid ETL experience in one or more platforms - Informatica Power Center, Informatica Power Exchange, Informatica Power Connect, Informatica IDQ.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Risk management, contingency planning.

  • Innovative, self-driven and quick learner abreast of latest technologies.


  • Experience with Hadoop tools such as MapR, Yarn, Spark, and Hive.

  • Experience with StreamSets.

  • Experience scripting in Perl, JavaScript, and Python.

  • Knowledge of Control-M Enterprise Scheduling.

  • Should have a good sense for Code Architecture and Design Principles.

  • Experience in deploying, operating, and managing services in AWS or other cloud environment.
