The Information Security Awareness Analyst is a creative role, responsible for developing educational content to promote a culture of security throughout LPL. A successful team member has a passion for training and communications, alongside technology experience to ensure LPL and our advisors operate in a safe and secure manner.
Creation of information security awareness communications and training through multiple mediums including email, video, newsletters, social media, live training and supplemental materials such as PowerPoints and infographics
Support of ongoing security awareness campaigns, including cybersecurity awareness month.
Manage the phishing simulation program
Own the information security awareness reporting/metrics
Plan annual employee training and follow through with the maintenance
Partner with information security, technology, and other LPL stakeholders to ensure education and awareness of current events and threats; provide training as needed

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Information Security, Business, Technology or related field
Experience or related education in information security areas such as multi-factor authentication, phishing, network security, regulatory/compliance
Prior experience with producing communications and training
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail
Ability to take a concepts and tell a relatable story or produce visual content that is easily digestible
Good collaboration and interpersonal skills, self-motivated, willing to take on challenges
Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals and deliverables.
Prior experience producing multi-media content
Information security-related certification(s)
