Job Overview:

We are currently looking to hire a Software Developer to support our ServiceNow Platform.  The professional candidate will possess ServiceNow platform administration and development experience to contribute toward the success and platform modernization initiatives within the Service Delivery Management department. The ServiceNow Administrator/Developer is a technical resource that possesses administration capability and can design, configure, and support ServiceNow applications and integrations. The Administrator/Developer works across applications, supports existing functionality, and implements innovative solutions to support technology and business needs. The ServiceNow Platform Administrator/Developer has a software development background, enhanced by ServiceNow system administration, scripting, and application creation. Qualified candidates will have a strong working knowledge of developing, implementing, enhancing, the ServiceNow Platform for a rapidly growing IT Services group.

Responsibilities:.

  • Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical and analytical support for the day-to-day operations supporting multiple stakeholders

  • Represent ServiceNow team in technical meetings

  • Provide proper technical stewardship through the Agile/Scrum lifecycle

  • Resolve defects, propose solutions, and deliver enhancement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Computer Science or related field and 2 years’ experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience

  • 2+ years’ of ServiceNow Experience

  • ServiceNow Systems Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Application Developer (CAD)

  • Knowledge of hardware asset lifecycle and general IT Asset Management principles

  • Experience with Enterprise Platform tools for tracking/managing assets and tickets

Core Competencies:

  • Basic Knowledge of IT Asset Management

  • Knowledge of ITIL processes

  • Extensive knowledge of JavaScript

  • Familiarity with UI, SQL, HTML and CSS

  • Knowledge of XML and structural programming concepts

  • Advanced problem-solving ability

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology, with participation in full software development lifecycle (Analysis, Design, Code, Test, and Production)

  • Clear and concise written and verbal skills

  • Ability to efficiently gather requirements and clearly communicate success criteria

  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities, strong time management skills

  • Positive attitude and excellent customer service a must

Preferences:

  • Certifications in ITIL, IAITAM Hardware and/or Software Asset Management and/or implementation experience with HAM/SAM Pro modules

  • Knowledge Performance Analytics or similar reporting tools

  • Working knowledge of various Windows and Apple OS and hardware for PC environments, principles, and terminology of networking and mobile technologies

  • Experience in ServiceNow Hardware and Software Asset Modules

  • Experience in ServiceNow Discovery, Microsoft SCCM and Intune integrations

  • Knowledge and Experience with Orchestration and CSD implementation
