Job Overview:
We are currently looking to hire a VP, Advisor Diversity and Inclusion to lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives to drive recruitment, retention, and growth of underrepresented advisor groups within LPL. This individual will act as a player/coach executing on certain initiatives and managing a team of employees who execute on the programs built for our underrepresented advisors. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion best practices, market research and a proven track record of developing and implementing effective business related diversity initiatives and solutions. Reporting to the SVP, Client Communities and Sustainability, this person will be responsible for working across a complex organization to align advisor diversity and inclusion strategy, measuring outcomes, managing a team, sharing insights and staying current on diversity and inclusion trends.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a positive and respectful culture of professionalism, collaboration, and executing with excellence
- Own and manage relationships with clients and prospects
- Develop, execute and enhance the strategy based on program objectives and implement processes to track key results
- Lead a team to ensure program priorities are accomplished
- Ability to cover the landscape of DEI trends to influence and iterate our strategy
- Effectively create and deliver a compelling story of our efforts in advancing underrepresented advisors to peers, senior leaders and executives
- Develop impactful partnerships with internal teams to achieve collective outcomes
- Develop and implement process to collect advisor data and feedback
- Provide project management and analytical support as needed
- Manage internal and external communications to raise awareness and understanding of the firm’s advisor diversity and inclusion program
- Overall responsibility for measuring performance and communicating impact

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with minimum 8-12 years’ experience
- Proficient in standard MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong understanding of nuances of underrepresented demographic segments
- Experience in financial services with relationship management or business development is a plus
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry and dynamics of the financial advisor profession
- Knowledge of nuances impacting diversity and inclusion in financial advisor profession
- Travel 25% to support diversity and inclusion related events

- Comfortable in managing ambiguity during our experimental processes
- A highly respectful and personable approach to client and coworker interactions
Pay Range:
$132,240-$198,360/year
The salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant’s skill, experience, and work location.
