VP, Business Development (Enterprise Sales Team – Institutions)

Job Overview:

The role of VP, Business Development, Enterprise Sales – Financial Institutions is responsible for attracting new Financial Institution wealth management programs to the LPL Financial platform. The Business Development team at LPL is focused on taking care of those in the advice business (advisors, firms, institutions), so they can take care of their clients. We provide technology, research, clearing and compliance services, and practice management programs to help financial institutions and their advisors deliver an amazing client experience to their customers and members.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively network and develop relationships with the executive leadership team of financial institutions

  • Leverage a consultative sales process to develop and manage the pipeline

  • Drive out sized capture of market share

What are we looking for?

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in outside sales, preferably selling into Financial Services companies

  • Experience working for or with a broker/dealer, custodian, or financial institution

  • Enthusiastic, polished, and professional demeanor

  • Track record of success in sales

  • Superior communication skills

Preferences:

  • Strong understanding and passion for the financial services industry

  • Direct experience with building a highly effective wealth management program within a financial institution
